Inventory Control Analyst

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, this position’s main focus is inventory cycle counting and to track and monitor inventory within the warehouse.  Requires strong reliance on accuracy, control, monitoring and coordination in order to confirm inventory & investigate count discrepancies. May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.  Requires a high school education or equivalent and one to four years of experience.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.Maintain product identification and location program.Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them in a timely manner.Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.Must be computer literate. i.e. ERP/Excel ExperienceHave strong verbal and written skillsAble to perform simple math transactions (add, subtract, multiply and divide).Must be detailed oriented.

Education and Experience:

Attention to detail, self-starter.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and organizational skills.Knowledge of inventory processes, experience in using a scan gun.Demonstrated commitment to safety.Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

One year of experience operating a forklift/Reach TruckMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsHigh school diploma or GEDMust pass pre-employment and random drug screen
