Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Inventory Control Assistant. If you have familiarity and experience in inventory control and are organized with great people skills, this is the position for you!
Responsibilities
As an Inventory Control Assistant, you will:
Performs basic inventory management tasks and uses existing procedures to solve standard problems.Execute Inventory Planning operational processes and maintain databases associated with such processes (various inventory measurements and projects)Utilize information systems such as Trilogie, HighJump, SQL, Cognos, PowerBI, as well as MS Excel to develop tools and reports and to evaluate processes and infrastructure across the entire supply chainCollaborate with various Business Groups and Supply Chain to review and identify appropriate inventory management and process improvementsDC inventory reporting including trackingUnderstand responsibility of and impacts on processes across various Business Groups and Supply ChainSupports analysis efforts, assisting and undertaking execution of projects that drive efficiency and effectiveness in our supply chainConducts analyses of inventory levelsSupports the creation of reports on inventory operations, stock levels and adjustments.Processes large-volume of incoming and outgoing itemsOperates specialized warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks to organize inventory, with guidance and direction from more senior colleagues (will train)Supports the production of program dashboard reports for all projects and initiatives, ensuring transparencySupports the maintenance of project plans and coordinating updatesExecutes project administration, ensuring all documentation is managed and stored correctlyExecutes daily support for troubleshooting activities at the test stands when errors ariseAdhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirementsRegular and reliable attendanceOther duties as assignedQualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred, however not requiredInventory control or supply chain experience preferred, however not requiredBeginner to Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and SQLAbove average math skillsProject management skills and prioritization skillsExcellent communication skills, written and oralAbility to produce resultsDetail oriented and accurate

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $21.68-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
