Job Description/Duties: The Building People LLC are looking for an Inventory Control Clerk to work on a federal entity in Kings Point, NY. The Inventory Clerk will: Utilize Maximo to monitor and maintain onsite inventory of parts and supplies. Perform inventory cycle counts and other physical inventory counts as directed. Receives, unpacks, and delivers/stocks parts & supplies. May reconcile shipments & inventory to ensure order accuracy. Identify material in storage that is not on record. Perform in-depth searches for material that is in storage but not in its specified location. Create and update inventory barcodes. Identify material by part number, national stock number, or other identifying characteristic, including local tagging to identify specific units. Perform occasional identification by serial number.
