The role you’ll contribute:

Manages time and equipment effectively. Completes daily responsibilities according to established procedures.
Endorses departmental initiatives while promoting a spirit of cooperation with all staff as observed by Supervisor. Demonstrate willingness to perform additional tasks as needed within Cardiology.
Initiates return of defective devices to vendors. Understands urgent device-related issues and responds appropriately and in a timely manner to all patient orders.
Perform inventory, generate requisitions for non-stock and select stock items; restock designated inventory areas; track status of open orders in accordance with departmental processes.
Generate and validate Apollo reports for purpose of maintaining PAR levels on Cardiology DPC; Perform MPC maintenance regularly. Track special bundle/bulk purchases for Cardiology.
Coordinate with Materials Management helpline and Purchasing to research pertinent issues.
Keeps supervisor or manager informed while communicating appropriately and professionally with physicians, technicians, and other hospital personnel. Maintains a professional relationship with all customers and co-workers.

What You Will Need:
Required:
Skills in applying inventory and materials handling concepts and knowledge of mathematical problems.
Able to work flexible schedule according to needs of dept.
Knowledge of computer keyboard and data elements.
Must be able to read and write legibly and communicate effectively.
Preferred:
Ability to maintain and troubleshoot job tools (IE: bar code scanners).
CPR not required, but highly recommended.
High School Diploma or GED
Job Summary:

A four-week notice is required for resignation/transfer, as well as any change in employment status resulting in decreased hours worked.
