Watts is a leading brand with a quality reputation — and we have a dynamic future ahead.​ SUMMARY: Records and maintains control of cycle counts for all purchased and manufacturing items RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: + Counts and cycles inventory based on predetermined schedule, or as required + Investigates and finds root cause for all variances >$500 + Maintains and updates all spreadsheets and databases with cycle counts, items and dollars + Acquires proficiency in all areas of Material Management which includes Receiving, Shipping and WIP + Reviews inventory transactions to aid in cycle versus perpetual record comparison + Inputs and audits daily cycle count program + Required to work during all inventories + Must drive fork/lift truck + Must be able to operate digital scales and scanners + Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) MANAGEMENT: None QUALIFICATIONS: + Minimum 2 years inventory control, process flow, shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment preferred + Proficiency in using a computer, including MS Office and data-based systems (MRP) + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals + Ability to write routine reports and correspondence + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals + Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent + Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
