SUMMARY:Records and maintains control of cycle counts for all purchased and manufacturing items
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Counts and cycles inventory based on predetermined schedule, or as requiredInvestigates and finds root cause for all variances >$500Maintains and updates all spreadsheets and databases with cycle counts, items and dollarsAcquires proficiency in all areas of Material Management which includes Receiving, Shipping and WIPReviews inventory transactions to aid in cycle versus perpetual record comparisonInputs and audits daily cycle count programRequired to work during all inventoriesMust drive fork/lift truckMust be able to operate digital scales and scannersPerforms other duties as assigned by SupervisorEDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years inventory control, process flow, shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment preferredProficiency in using a computer, including MS Office and data-based systems (MRP)Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percentAbility to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
