ResponsibilitiesOverview:
Reviews and audits for accurate inventory levels; prepare daily and month end reports pertaining to inventory levels and transactions; conduct various inventory counts throughout
the plant.
Responsabilities:
Follows all Company policies regarding safety, quality and attendance. Performs duties ina safe manner and reports all observed safety hazards to management. Acts as a role model
for safety.Prepare Raw Material Report and adjustments weekly.Prepare inventory reports to the Staff as requested.Work with Plant Controller to maintain "obsolete/slow moving inventory" report, report
comments and coordinate “slow moving inventory". Follow up on final disposition of that
inventory and make adjustments as needed.Adjust physical inventory levels as directed or as needed.Prints cycle counts and enters information on monthly spreadsheet. Enters film and resin inventory weekly into cycle count.Compiles and enters Daily Yield report onto spreadsheet for distribution.Prepares, maintains and reconciles Month-end production floor inventory.Enters inventory adjustments in JDE.Reconciles roll stock inventory.Verifies and adjusts WebEFF entry errors, item completion on JDE reports, stage and tray locations.Reconciles scrap information from the Remill Daily Scrap Report to the WebEFF scrap reportsReconciles Traveler Report Quantities to the WebEFF Quantities report and files Traveler reports.Provides month-end closing labor hours to Controller.Reconciles and closes Work OrdersParticipates in employee driven teams to address scrap, quality, safety or other plant related issues.Conducts physical inventories of packaging, resin and finished goods as needed
Qualifications
Education: Knowledge normally acquired through completion of a High School Diploma or
GED. Additional education or training in accounting principles or inventory control
management desired.
Experience: In addition to the educational requirements, 3-4 years’ previous experience in
inventory control and reconciliation desired; 2 years previous experience in manufacturing is required.
Minimum education and years of experience should not be used exclusive of other leveling factors described below
