Inventory Control Coordinator (Temporary)

Tiffany & Co. is looking for an Inventory Control & Asset Coordinator for a 4-month period.

Responsible for physical and systematic receiving, issuing, shipping, and tracking of assets including samples, components, raw materials and finished goods. This position may require additional projects and responsibilities deemed necessary to support departmental goals.

Key Accountabilities

Receiving

Receive physically and process systematically all incoming inventory (Loose stones, vendor samples, components, raw materials, castings, finished goods) within established timeframe of receipt. Ensure inventory is transferred physically and systematically following company and departmental SOP (Standard Operational Procedure). Ensure accuracy of count, description, and cost. Escalate inaccuracies to Management for further follow up with respective stakeholders.

Inventory Management

Maintain inventory in the proper stocking locations, filing stock away appropriately. Perform Cycle counts, High Value counts, review transaction history to ensure accuracy. Perform secondary counts as needed when discrepancies occur. Perform count, visual inspection, system receipt, and put away of returned inventory as needed. Transfer inventory to and from the Inventory Control area Transfer and receive inventory from external and internal customers (Engineering, manufacturing, testing labs, GA, TGL, design, product development etc.). Process inventory adjustments

Purchasing and Work Order Fulfilment

Create JDE requisitions for all non- inventory items in Coupa. Create unique item numbers including purchase orders and enter detailed information in JDE for all samples, components, sundries, and castings. Issue components, raw materials to all JDIW work orders (job bags) Coordinate and follow up of all casting orders, casting vendor pick-ups/drop offs.

Shipping

Ensure all outbound packages are properly packaged as per procedures. Ensure all outbound packages are processed through IC on a timely basis and shipped as quickly as possible. Ensure that all outbound international shipments have detailed invoices and necessary documents. Ensure comprehensive communication with all stakeholders on the movement of assets. Report any missing merchandise using established Tiffany process. Maintain clean and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security and safety of the IC area. Participate daily in striving for continuous improvement in the Inventory Control Department. Other duties and special projects as assigned by Manager or Director of Operations.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma Working knowledge of JDE and Excel Analytical and problem-solving skills Accurate and attentive to detail 2 years operational experience

Preferred Qualifications

Associate or bachelor's degree

The hiring range for this position ranges from $22.87 - $30.94 per hour. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
