The Minka Group is actively hiring an Inventory Control Manager!
The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Minka Lighting Group inventory control operations, including developing and implementing strategies to optimize stock levels, ensuring accuracy through regular audits, analyzing inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement, leading a team of inventory control staff, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to maintain efficient supply chain management, all while aiming to minimize ongoing excess and obsolete inventory.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels across all product lines, balancing demand forecasting with cost control to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.Lead regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accurate inventory data and identify discrepancies, taking corrective action as needed.Analyze inventory trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement, including excess and obsolete slow-moving items, and potential cost savings opportunities.Manage and develop a team of inventory control associates, including assigning tasks, performance evaluation, and training.Maintain inventory management systems, ensuring accurate data entry and proper system usage across the warehouse.Work closely with purchasing, sales, operations, and logistics teams to align inventory levels with business needs and sales forecasts.Identify and implement cost-saving measures related to inventory management, such as optimizing shipping methods.Ensure adherence to company inventory policies and procedures, including regulatory requirements and quality standards.Continuously evaluate and improve inventory control processes, finding opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.Preferred Skills and Qualifications:Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretationExpertise in inventory management systems and softwareProven leadership and team management experienceExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teamsUnderstanding of supply chain principles and standard methodologiesBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, logistics, or a related fieldMinimum 7 years significant experience in inventory control managementAt The Minka Group, we care for each other. Pay Range:

$4,537.80 - $9,982.50-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
