Inventory Control/Quality Assurance Clerk
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build their career with our Inventory Control Department as an Inventory Control/Quality Assurance Clerk. This is a dynamic role where you will be a key part of our Inventory Control Team with objectives including: Cycle counting of inventory, entry of inventory data into the computer system, and support for other departments. Inspecting, approving, or rejecting all inbound perishables, as well as the quality of outbound shipments.

Pay: $19.53 per hour
Responsibilities:
Run a negative slot report to verify inventory. Manage sorting all product for suitable resale. Report on trends tracked through cycle counts. Watch for proper product rotation in pick slots. Keypunch paperwork generated by operations daily. Cycle count and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Assist purchasing by validating product in specific slots. Assist all other departments with their inventory needs. Assisting Will Call with any returns that are processed there. Track and report on inventory levels in the holding warehouse. Make sure all returns are taken back to their appropriate areas. Research discrepancies such as returns without documentation. Match credits noted by Drivers to the products that are returned. Alert buyer for product that is slow or not moving in a timely period. Check and approve all code dated products as to their expiration date. Daily inspection of product in pick location for quality, condition, and shelf life. Communicate with all buyers about products to determine what action will be taken. Notify buyer of any ongoing pattern of either bad product or apparent customer abuse. Supply a written form on all products with a problem of quality, condition, and temperature to our suppliers. At least 1 year experience in warehouse operations. Basic computer skills including 10-key data entry. Identify basic inventory terminology and reporting. Work in a variety of temperatures (cooler, dry, and freezer). Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Demonstrate attention to detail, self-motivation, and to communicate and coordinate with other employees. Operate and understand mechanical operations of a pallet jack, forklift, man-lift, and other warehouse equipment.About us
