Inventory Control Specialist II
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing accurate inventory in manufacturing through regular cycle counts, addressing discrepancies, and ensuring timely project completion. Key duties include overseeing cycle counts, reporting findings, maintaining organized inventory, collaborating with the Operations Manager or Inventory Analyst for inventory forecasting, and working with procurement to resolve quality or quantity issues. The role also involves supporting production planning, participating in improvement projects, and assisting with receiving duties when necessary. Candidates need 1-3 years of inventory management experience, basic math skills, and the ability to work with MRP or office software. Job Purpose:   The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory for manufacturing through established cycle count guidelines, ensuring timely project completion. 

Essential Functions:

Conduct and oversee inventory cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and report findings to the Operations Manager or Inventory Analyst before adjustments are made.Maintain the organization and cleanliness of inventory and inventory locations, adjusting as neededCollaborate with the Operations Manager or Inventory Analyst to perform inventory forecasting for future needs and replenishment, using tools that provide reorder recommendations based on sales trends, standard equipment creation, and product turnover.Communicate and partner with the procurement team to address inventory quality issues, quantity discrepancies, or inaccurate items received in a timely manner.Work closely with the Production Planning team to maximize production efficiencies.Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at overall continuous improvement.Assist Receiving in investigating and resolving discrepancies through procurement or planners.Support the field return process/RMA process.Assist with receiving duties and parts movement as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.1-3 years of experience with inventory management.Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.Proficiency with MRP or office software systems preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must be able to regularly lift 20-35 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
