Job Purpose
We are now accepting applications for an Inventory Control Supervisor, reporting to the Supply Chain and Demand Planning Manager. The Inventory Control Supervisor is a crucial position in the organization that is responsible for directing the plant’s inventory control and inventory record accuracy programs that include the execution of inventory management strategy. This position is responsible for overseeing all cycle counting, PFEP, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
The incumbent must interact effectively with people at all levels, both inside and outside of the company. Reports to the Supply Chain Manager and will function with minimal direct supervision. The inventory control supervisor is responsible for directing and managing the tasks related to inventory management. Accountable for coordinating and planning the production control and inventory management. Manages and reports on inventory in the facilities. Use discretion and independent judgment for directing the activities of inventory matters. Provide the necessary leadership that is associated with building as well as maintaining a strong inventory control team. Manage and coordinate the activities of all the staff members engaged in inventory control and inventory record accuracy. Manage and coordinate the activities of the annual Physical Inventory. Manage and control the inventory stock counting and all inventory accuracy checks. Works with purchasing to sure that overstocks are minimized, and that the redundant and obsolete raw materials are removed. Lead the organization's inventory related teams and provide leadership for training and development. Responsible for creating and maintaining the PFEP. Manages scrap and reporting. Serves as SAP WM master data support. Assists campus wide with SAP issues. Verifies and resolves production order differences. Other Duties as Assigned The job description is pending.

Education and Experience:
Minimum 3 years Inventory Control Responsibilities required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college along with at least 1 year of Inventory Control responsibilities preferred. Previous supervisory/management experience strongly preferred.
Other Competencies:
Solid knowledge in inventory management. Knowledge of Hazmat specification helpful. Willingness and ability to lead, supervise and train. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Project management skills, investigative nature. Knowledge of ERP systems MAS, SAP, Oracle or similar, Excel, MS Project.
