Inventory Control Supervisor

Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity, processes, and accuracy. This role ensures effective inventory management, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and leads a team dedicated to inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Cycle Count program in compliance with finance requirements.Conduct thorough analysis and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies and cycle count variances within the IQMS/Navision/CiLog system.Develop and implement inventory strategies for work centers and warehouse locations.Identify root causes of inventory issues and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve problems.Supervise the Inventory Team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Identify training needs and provide appropriate training and guidance.Solve problems and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.Perform audits to ensure inventory accuracy and cycle count compliance.Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and metrics.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management processes.Monitor Bill of Materials (BOM) compliance and structural alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with production reporting and inventory control in ERP systems (IQMS preferred).Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a minimum of five years of equivalent experience.Knowledge of Lean principles, including 5S, Visual Management, continuous improvement, and pull systems.Background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Inventory Control, Shipping, and Receiving.Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).Experience documenting and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Ability to analyze reports and utilize data to improve operational efficiency.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or 5 years equivalent experienceMinimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.Knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, and on-time delivery processes.Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
