Inventory Control Technician I
We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** MPHS-Mills-Peninsula Medical Center **Position Overview:** Performs stocking and storing of medical supplies, primarily in the supply chain storeroom. Activities include, but not limited to, receiving, inventory management, supply and equipment requisitions, billing support, de-casing and stocking supplies. Works under close supervision and in conjunction with one-up leader, providing tactical expertise and assistance for all clinical and non-clinical equipment and supplies. Works closely with Supply Chain teammates and clinicians to aid supply chain goals and objectives. Executes periodic cycle counts and annual inventory tasks. **Job Description** : _These Principal Accountabilities, Requirements and Qualifications are not exhaustive, but are merely the most descriptive of the current job. Management reserves the right to revise the job description or require that other tasks be performed when the circumstances of the job change (for example, emergencies, staff changes, workload, or technical development)._ **JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:** INVENTORY CONTROL • Rotates stock, monitors expiration dates, de-cases supplies, stocks shelves and identifies potential product returns. • Checks packing slips ensuring accurate deliveries. Notifies supervisor of any discrepancies. • Responds to inventory enhancements, based on past utilization, case load, census and budgetary constraints. • Ensures neat and orderly storage and control of inventory at all times. • Assists in the disposition of equipment and supply recall notices. • Leverages technology for storeroom logistics functions. • Participates in cycle counts and year-end inventories. • Follows Established protocol for accurate inventory management SAFETY • Maintains a clean, neat, and safe working environment. • Participates in quality/safety activities, as required. **EDUCATION:** HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:** Routine work requiring problem-solving capability and paying close attention to detail. Must possess aptitude in math and computer operation. Must have the skills to produce accurate work results within established timeframes. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal guidance and direction. Pay Range is $30.65 to $38.30 / hour _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
