Responsibilities

A day in the life of Inventory Control Technician at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

Assists in breaking down the pallets and unpacking delivery boxes in designated areas.Transport supplies to the OR. Puts supplies in the proper location in the OR always rotating stock to maintain First
In and First Out.Checks for expired items and removes them from inventory to be documented. Monitors inventory levels of basic OR items and notifies Inventory Controller when items need to be reordered.Participates in product recalls as directed. Maintains a safe and orderly area.Receives and inspects the packaging integrity of incoming material, supplies, and equipment.Other duties and/or projects as assigned.Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications
High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs is requiredMinimum 1 year receiving/ storeroom, shipping, or general warehouse experience is preferredBasic computer skills preferred
