The Inventory Controller administers the purchasing, receiving, disbursement, and tracking of all maintenance, electrical, HVAC/plumbing, and appliance inventory. The Inventory Controller organizes and conducts periodic and annual physical count inventory.
Responsibilities:
Organizes and maintains all inventory items in an orderly and productive manner; condenses current inventory areas to extent if possible.
Establishes and maintains an inventory database that accurately reflects the inventory areas and proper shelves; maintains and updates price sheets.
Identifies and maintains proper minimums & maximums for inventory items.
Conducts inventory counts - orchestrates process, conducts, count, enters data, and reconciles.
Maintains daily records of inventory issues and provides weekly reports to management.
Coordinates and orders all inventory and special orders items as requested by service technicians and management; deals with new vendors to establish new accounts.
Responsible to order inventory stock and special order items by researching different vendors to find the best value, including price, delivery, quality, and service. Makes emergency trips for inventory as needed in order to support technician's productivity (i.e. Aubuchons, Johnson Farm & Garden, Country Home Center, Home Depot, etc.)
