Job Description

Position Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist role is joining a strong logistics team focused on providing excellent customer service and managing service part inventory. The logistics team is positioned to communicate between internal partners, such as engineers, factories, buyers and planners, as well as an external 3PL provider. This role will support a critical communication pipeline while offering an opportunity to showcase problem solving and analytical skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

Act as central point of contact between IES Logistics and cross-functional partnersMaintain systematic inventory alignment between SAP and 3PL WMSMonitor daily EDI transmissions and resolve iDoc failures to maintain flow of informationReview daily cycle count results, seek adjustments approvals as needed, make necessary system adjustments and file claims for lost partsWork with field engineers to resolve trunk stock discrepancies, make systematic stock transfers and expense partsSupport daily accountability meetings through data gathering and analysisCoordinate annual field trunk stock counts, including visual part verification and meeting financial audit requirementsMonitor weekly performance indicators, provide data driven analysis and problem resolutionResolve CRM concerns, identify trends, collaborate with partner groups to mitigate further issues and attend service improvement meetings as requiredUse SAP to schedule regional sales and stock transfer orders from global distribution centersAction shortages, cancelations and returns that may impact order cycle timeReview sales order backlogs and prioritize based on customer entitlement

Bachelor’s Degree1-2 years supply chain experienceProficient in Microsoft Outlook and ExcelSAP knowledge preferredUnited States based
