Inventory Coordinator

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator in Worcester, MA to join our Strategic Project Consulting team within our Power Delivery Solutions division. In this role, you will work directly with Leidos' utility customer to provide services supporting our electric utility client. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be part of an established Project Management Office (PMO) within our division, responsible for portfolio management, people leadership, and driving special initiatives. You will play in important role in our client's Grid Modernization programs, and ensure the successful delivery of projects while adhering to Leidos' Mission, Vision, and Values.

The Inventory Coordinator plays a vital role in the Grid Modernization equipment office commissioning by managing the flow of equipment and materials to various commissioning sites. This position ensures that all inventory is accurately tracked and properly allocated to support ongoing Grid Mod projects for Leidos' utility customer across Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities:

Verification: Ensure the accuracy of quantity and quality for incoming deliveries.Labeling and Placement: Label equipment and label them with corresponding Work Requests and related VVO or FLISR schemes.Product Identification: Identify and locate the correct equipment during the delivery process.Inventory Management: Maintain up-to-date records of stock and inventory, especially for items in short supply.Collaboration: Work with Resource Coordinators, O&M, and Telecom Supervisors to monitor the status of commissioned equipment.Problem Resolution: Coordinate with internal departments to address issues such as missing packages, incorrect deliveries, and damaged products.

Skills and Qualifications:

4+ years of previous experience working in inventory/logistics management settingsForklift Certification: Certification in forklift operation and ability to operate other warehouse machinery.Technical Skills: Proficiency in data entry, mathematics, and computer operations.Education: Candidates with Bachelor's degree strongly preferredPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift objects weighing 50-100 pounds.Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities.Attention to Detail: Careful attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication.Mobility: Must be able to drive between various locations across Massachusetts.

Pay Range:Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00
