Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Cold Room/Freezers -22degrees, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, No eye contacts allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

Job Description

Job Summary: The Inventory Coordinator I is a pivotal role within our manufacturing team, responsible for ensuring flawless inventory control and contributing to world-class operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

**Inventory Management:**

Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular counts, audits, and reconciliations.

1. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.

Help develop and implement inventory control procedures and standard methodologies.

**Data Entry and Documentation:**

Accurately enter inventory data into the inventory management system.

1. Prepare and maintain necessary documentation, including receiving reports, transfer records, and inventory adjustment forms.

**Receiving and Shipping:**

Assist with the receiving of incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and inspecting for damages.

1. Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of orders.

**Discrepancy Resolution:**

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including overages, shortages, and mislabeling.

1. Collaborate with other departments to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

**Warehouse Organization:**

Help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

1. Ensure that inventory is stored in a safe and accessible manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.

**Reporting:**

Generate regular inventory reports and provide insights to management regarding inventory trends and issues.

1. Assist in the preparation of periodic and ad-hoc inventory reports as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent experience; additional education in a related field is beneficial.Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field.Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

This position may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.Work is primarily performed in a warehouse or storage facility environment.Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet inventory deadlines.
