Inventory Coordinator (Pay - $20 To $22/hr)
Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Job Description

Research root cause of inventory discrepancies in order to maintain a 98% inventory accuracy level. Coordinate and execute the daily cycle count program, maintain accurate inventory records, perform standard inventory transactions, and provide inventory control support to the production team. Maintain inventory data integrity and track the accuracy of inventory. Perform analysis of inventory transactions, compiling reports that identify process, system, and/or training deficiencies. Perform cycle count activity by providing variance reporting and reconciliation of daily counting activity while both monitoring and performing daily inventory transactions, as required. Maintain continuous communication with the production team, warehouse employees, and all levels of the organization. Participate in monthly, quarterly, and the annual end-of-year physical inventory. Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored.

ResponsibilitiesResearch root cause of inventory discrepancies to maintain a 98% inventory accuracy level.Coordinate and execute the daily cycle count program.Maintain accurate inventory records and perform standard inventory transactions.Provide inventory control support to the production team.Maintain inventory data integrity and track accuracy.Perform analysis of inventory transactions and compile reports identifying deficiencies.Provide variance reporting and reconciliation of daily counting activity.Monitor and perform daily inventory transactions as required.Maintain continuous communication with production team and warehouse employees.Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual physical inventory.Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored.Essential SkillsAssociate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or a minimum of 1-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SAP (or equivalent ERP system experience).Proficient in math and analytics.Ability to perform under work pressure, especially during shipment or inventory delays.Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and resolve them in a timely manner.Experience working in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience communicating cross-functionally with different levels of leadership.Ability to adhere to safety procedures, rules, and regulations at all times.Willingness to wear personal protective equipment while on the factory floor, including safety glasses.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in inventory control, cycle counts, data entry, inventory management, and warehouse inventory.Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and supply chain processes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Distribution Center. 1st shift 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed. Dress Code: Tennis shoes, t-shirt, jeans.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Bernardino, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
