Inventory Coordinator Specialist- FT Nights

Starting Pay: $21.50/ Per Hour (Includes Night Shift Differential) 

Shift: Nights 

Schedule: Sun, Mon, Wed, Thurs from 6pm until Close

Summary: The Inventory Coordinator I is responsible for coordinating products for customer shipments and supporting the Shipping operations team with shortages and errors. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Essential Duties:

·         Reporting any accidents, injuries, malfunctions on equipment, and safety issues and/or unsafe practices immediately to a supervisor. ·         Report discrepancies or shortages to the relevant department for resolution. ·         Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory. ·         Support Outbound operations team with shipment shortage research, missing inventory investigations, mispicks analysis, and potential shipment shortages. ·         Comparing inventories to office records from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory. ·         Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure they meet company standards. ·         Compiling information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost. ·         Preparing reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages. ·         Preparing list of depleted items and recommending survey of defective or unusable items. ·         Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work in various temperature-controlled zones ranging from -5 F to ambient temperature. ability to observe surroundings, packages, and labels at both close and far distances
