**Job Title: Cycle Counter**
**Job Description**
As a Cycle Counter, you will transport and stack materials safely, remove and deliver finished materials to and from mills and the warehouse, move scrap to designated disposal points, and pull production tags from materials. You will use an RF scanner daily, change propane tanks on forklifts, assist in mill changeovers, and help with end-spraying materials.
**Responsibilities**
+ Transport and stack materials in a safe manner
+ Remove and deliver finished materials to and from the mills and warehouse
+ Move scrap to designated disposal points or inspection holding areas
+ Pull production tags from materials and inform the supervisor of missing or incorrect tags
+ Utilize RF scanner daily
+ Change propane tanks on forklifts
+ Assist in mill changeovers as needed
+ Assist in end-spraying materials
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience in cycle counting
+ Experience in material handling and inventory management
+ Experience using RF scanners
+ Experience working in a heavy industrial environment
+ Forklift operation experience
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience moving steel tubing with a forklift
+ Experience operating a forklift within a lumber yard (e.g., Lowes, Home Depot, or Menards)
+ Willingness to train on a 1st shift (7am-3pm)
+ Open to working 50+ hours and weekends as needed
+ Steel-toe boots required
**Why Work Here?**
A majority of our workforce started here after high school and retires here. When permanent, overtime is paid after 8 hours, with Saturday being 1.5 times pay and Sunday being double time. **Work Environment**
Candidates will be working on the manufacturing floor and in the warehouse. The manufacturing floor is well organized but can be dirty, hot in the summer, and cool in the winter. You will work alongside laborers, operators, and maintenance staff.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harvey, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
