Our newest project in the Empire State Building continues to elevate what is possible within the four walls of a retail environment by offering multiple service models (quick serve, sit and stay, exploratory), space for private events, various food and beverage offerings throughout the space, craft cocktails all while creating a memorable experience for the customer.
This position contributes to Starbucks by ensuring that all the facility is properly cleaned, meeting food regulatory standards and product is received and stored in accordance with Starbucks policies. The inventory & facilities associate role is responsible for working the team to keep the facility and stock clean, organized, sanitary and our equipment in safe and working order. Through a commitment to operational excellence, they work together as a team to create a great environment and experience for their customers and one another.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:
The inventory and facilities role is a position that makes the Roastery or Reserve store run smoothly by making sure everything is safe and clean. In this role, you’ll apply your experience to:
Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines and standards. Contributes to positive team environment Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the operation, including front of house area (tables/chairs, floors, walls, windows, doors, stairway, elevator, etc.), back of house area (floors, equipment, walls, food surfaces, storage areas, partner break area, etc.) and building exterior (front entrance, sidewalk, windows, etc.). Cleans and sanitizes all restrooms. Removes garbage containers, sanitizes cans and garbage area. Prepares garbage and recycling for pick up according to schedule. Supports inventory management and receives and unpacks deliveries, and organizes into various stock areas Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies according to standards. Organizes the back of house areas and behind production bars and kitchens Deep cleans entire facility and equipment as needed Stocks and maintains all display tables and cases and all supplies and wares needed for service and sales Follow equipment maintenance and cleaning standards Performs safety checks Delivers exceptional customer service to all customers Performs miscellaneous job-related duties and tasks as assigned by supervisorQualifications - External
We would love to hear from people with:
1-3 years of experience in custodial services, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant environment Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push/pull, for long periods of time Ability to lift and carry 35lbs consistently or up to 55lbs periodically Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation Available to overnight shift (approximately 11 pm – 7 am), including a schedule that may include weekends and holidays. *If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
