Summary You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Material Management Department of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK. Responsibilities You will plan and determine current and future supply requirements in the support of Real-Time Re Utilization Asset Management (RRAM) program. You will be responsible for physical inventory analysis, data collection, and report generation utilizing Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) and other applications. You will initiate, develop, schedule, implement, and monitor recommendations/options to solve specialized problems in the supply operation. You will develop, refine, interpret, and issue inventory management policies and procedures for a RRAM/CARP programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing an in-depth knowledge of inventory management and a broad range of supply program relationships to research, analyze, and resolve difficult inventory management issues and problems. I have experience developing, refining, interpreting and issuing inventory management policies and procedures and coordinating with representatives of other organizations regarding material management policies. I also have experience analyzing historical and current data to discern inventory management discrepancies. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Designing and planning project, operation, and procedures based on the principals, concepts, and methodologies of inventory management; 2) Organizing and conducting non-technical/technical briefings, training sessions to explain inventory management operations; 3) Researching automated inventory management files and system operating instructions to identify problem areas; and 4) Utilizing a knowledge of Real-Time Re utilization Asset Management (RRAM) programs, Consumable Asset Reutilization Program (CARP) programs and Consolidated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) to perform inventory management duties.
