We are Now Hiring an Inventory Manager in Rockville, Maryland!

Ensure invoices show correct pricing and are properly coded for payment.

Ensure all invoices have been processed for months-end reporting Must have automotive parts, warehouse experienceTrack and enforce warranties for parts and services. Identify trends, insure sufficient supply of parts and consumables for special projects, campaigns, and weather-related events/seasons. Ensure the needs of the staff are met in a timely manner.  Work with Vendors to find the best pricing and to negotiate purchasing contracts for equipment, parts, services, and supplies. Buyer for goods and services needed by the centralized Maintenance Department for timely work order completion (create purchase requisitions, expedite orders as needed, and follow up on order fulfillment). Identify, buy for, and maintain proper levels of inventory to avoid project and maintenance down time. Support and direct field operations managers with purchasing needs / requests Annual physical Inventory counts and monthly cycle counts Work with accounting to reconcile physical inventory to system counts. Responsible for keeping the purchasing database up to date and accurate  Qualifications:  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent5+ years of related work experienceExcellent interpersonal & communication skills  Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
