Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory operations. This role is crucial to maintaining accurate inventory records, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the smooth execution of work orders. The position is split between clerical inventory management and physical inventory handling, offering a dynamic and varied workday.
ResponsibilitiesManage inventory using an ERP system.Prepare inventory item records, cost data, and reorder points.Execute work orders efficiently.Handle vendor management and maintain strong vendor relationships.Receive and manage physical inventory.Ensure accurate record-keeping and inventory control.Essential SkillsProficiency in ERP systems administration, preferably with Global Shop Systems.Strong background in inventory management.Experience with Bill of Material (BOM) preparation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in parts room management.Familiarity with engineer-to-order products.Ability to manage high mix, low volume inventory.Work Environment
The role reports directly to the President and works closely with the executive admin. You will be part of a small startup environment where you will wear multiple hats and work with custom equipment. The position is not entirely office-based, offering a mix of desk work and physical inventory management tasks.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
