Inventory Material Handler
**Job Title: Inventory Material Handler** **Job Description** The purpose of this role is to serve as a material handler for the inventory receiving department. This position involves utilizing cherry pickers daily to put away received products. The role is composed of 70% material handling using cherry pickers and other forklifts, and 30% inventory cycle counts. The employee will utilize an ERP system called Manhattan, similar to Warehouse Management Systems, as well as SAP, requiring comfort with computer use. Responsibilities include handling between 30 to 150 large products, performing constant cycle counts, and ensuring accurate data logging. **Responsibilities** + Utilize cherry pickers and other forklifts for material handling. + Perform inventory cycle counts regularly. + Put away products received, logging them into the system using ERP and SAP. + Assist in the receiving department by sorting and logging products onto carts. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment by collecting and disposing of scrap materials. + Transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations. + Assist in other tasks as needed to ensure job completion. **Essential Skills** + Experience with forklifts and cherry pickers. + Proficiency in using ERP systems and SAP. + Attention to detail for inventory cycle counts. + Ability to handle and verify incoming orders. + Packing and preparing shipments for FedEx/UPS. + Strong verbal communication skills. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Efficient time management skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in order pulling, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. + Ability to perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment. + Capability to lift various loads. **Why Work Here?** As an employee-owned company, we offer up to a 15% profit bonus based on performance metrics deposited into 401k. The facility is organized and clean, spanning 265,000 square feet, with large industrial fans to circulate air. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
