Opportunity Snapshot:

Compensation: $30-40/hourLocation: Kermit, TXWork Schedule: M-F / 40 hours +, OT available and will be on-call / work on the weekendsAssignment Duration: 12 months +Benefits: Comprehensive insurance, 401(k) program, PTO and holidays Responsibilities Develop/maintain an inventory tracking system to streamline our business operationsActively seeks guidance, as necessary, from more experienced staffDevelops working knowledge of organization functions, roles and responsibilitiesDevelop and implement inventory control procedures and best practicesCommunicate with suppliers of equipment and project materials to ensure items needed for projects are readily available.  Coordinate simultaneous operations among vendors and customers to assure operational successReview daily inventory activity; maintain accurate inventory master files, manufacturer/catalog numbers and material desciptionsRemain current on new and obsolete materials.  Maintain adequate levels of inventory stock based upon demandsReceive pre-pull materials lists from a variety of sources and review for coordination of loading and possible deliveriesSchedule maintenance for all yard lifting i.e. forklifts, tele-handlers, etcEnsure (SDS) files are up to dateOrganize and maintain warehouse(s) and inventory yard(s) areas for efficient material storage and handling, including labeling, stocking and organizing stock/material on shelving and pallet systemsAnalyzes and solves problems identified by others related to IMFL responsibilitiesExhibits capability of identifying & solving problems under own direction (self-motivated & proactive)Responsible for overseeing inventory counts and ensures compliance and accuracyApplies judgment in selecting and implementing standard techniques, procedures and criteria Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience in inventory control and material management and/ or warehouse/yard operations in oil & gas industry. Experience in oil & gas field operations also consideredBe able to multi-task, work independently and optimize Material Management proceduresMust possess excellent analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skillsUnderstand how different departments relate and effectively interface with them. Possess strong interpersonal skills, having the ability to work across departmental boundaries with individuals of diverse competencies and levels of authorityThorough understanding of the processes involved in ordering, procurement, and delivery of suppliesDetailed knowledge of the Inventory Management ProcessesAbility to handle confidential and proprietary company data and informationGeneral knowledge of standard safety practices and procedures relating to warehouse/yard operations and equipmentUnderstanding of SAP required.  Understanding of MS Office applicationsKnow how to use various forklifts (5k-12k types).  Able to pick up and move 50lbs on a regular basis.  Must possess a valid driver's license with no restrictionsHigh School diploma or GED required
