**Job Description** Candidates will receive bars of metal stock for a large-sized machine shop. They will verify the order is correct (materials/amount), stage the materials onto color-coded shelves, and ensure the proper length before distributing it to different CNC cells in the shop. They will also take inventory of prior stock and document their work in the computer (ERP system is Vista but transitioning to Epicor in January). The role includes lifting up to 75lbs throughout the day (typically 30-40lbs), which accounts for about 50% of the job, documenting in the computer (40% of the job), and operating a saw to cut metal to the correct size (training provided). **Hard Skills** + ERP system (Vista, transitioning to Epicor) + Operating a saw (trainable) + Inventory management + Metal stock verification **Soft Skills** + Strong communication + Attention to detail + Organizational skills **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Environment** Clean machine shop that is climate controlled.
