Inventory Mgmt. Manager

Report, analyze, and identify improvement opportunities of inventory of SSC China (incl. but not limited to SSC SH, HK and TW) on regular basis, with special attention on GIT inventory, engineer inventory, etc.
In particular, closely work with Sales, Servce and Controlling to align on “same-page” inventory reports, and more importantly actions to use the least inventory to enable the most revenue outcome. Understand business features of each BU, and select / recommend proper inventory planning methods and tools for each BU, so as to facilitate sales / service forecast from BU side.
Including but not limited to MRP, MHP, S&OP, and so on so forth. Based on sales / service inputs on demand, plan and align with BUs on dynamic inventory set up / levels on regular basis.
Especially strongly support Sales and Service to well manage long-aging inventory. Together with BU’s, take annual inventory targets from GC Board as one of joint owners, and strongly support each BU to achieve their annual inventory target

Promote and stepwise establish full-channel visibility across not only SSC China but also Zeiss factories, distributors, dealers, and even customers / end users.

Education

Bachelor degree and above, in majors of Logistics Management, International Trade, Supply Chain

Management, or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum 10+ years experience of international supply chain or logistics management. Minimum 5+ years inventory management experience in international companies. Top expert in inventory management. Expert of S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning). Preferred Management Consulting experience.

Skills

Strong continuous improvement gene with proven successes track record. Excellent English and Chinese both written and spoken. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to drive for transformation of inventory lifecycle and visibility management. Can-do attitue, result-oriented & working under pressures.
