This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products. **Job Purpose and Impact** The Inventory Planner will contribute to coordinating long term supply chain strategies across networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals. In this role, you will monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data and help facilitate the company's cross functional work to meet high customer service standards. **Key Accountabilities** + Within the S&OE horizon create requirements plan and short to mid-term supply plan for assigned products and locations as well as interfacing with the integrated business planning cycle. + Own the inventory planning metrics targets and monitor Supply Performance with an CI mindset. + Develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages and supply constraints. + Generate and execute cycle stock and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan inputs. + Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. + Align liquid and solid volume between the short-term and mid-term horizon. + Inventory optimization through policy application across the network. + Support the Portfolio segmentation MTS/MTO/ATO, execute implementation plan and be responsible for the Governance process + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience + Minimum of two years of related work experience + Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset + Experience in supply and inventory planning **Our Offer** We provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
