SUMMARY:
The Inventory Planner works closely with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain team to ensure quantity of materials, meeting production requirements, and providing delivery assurance to our customers. This role requires high level of attention to detail, ability to focus on producing results independently, and must be comfortable working with large amounts of data to draw conclusions based on the analysis of the data. The role will introduce the candidate to our suppliers and customers within the Aerospace & Defense industry, and the daily processes necessary to ensure the success and support to each customer relationship.
This is an onsite position in our Manchester, NH location. The role reports directly to our Production Planning Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Forecast, track, and reconcile work orders and raw materialsMaintaining inventory essential to the wire and cable production in order to meet customer needsInterfacing with various wire and cable industry suppliersLean manufacture conceptsGeneral focus on process improvement and cost savings projectsPeriodically measure ERP inventory levels matches physical inventory, communicate with managerQUALIFICATIONS:
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically MS ExcelKnowledge of Manufacturing and Production processesStrong attention to detail, ability to analyze large amounts of dataStrong interpersonal skills to work in a team settingResults orientated and organized with the ability to deliver against deadlinesAbility to multitask while prioritizing responsibilitiesExcellent Communication skills, as you will be communicating with Peers, Management, and the customerSelf-starter with ability to effectively utilize existing resources to solve problemsFamiliarity with ERP SystemsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
