Position Summary
The Inventory Planning, Efficiency and Waste Reduction Manager of Analytics will focus on the analytics supporting the development and execution of data-driven strategies to improve business performance, specifically, but not limited to inventory damages, expiration and disposition. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering insights that support multi-year plans to maintain sales and margin growth while reducing waste. This role will partner closely with various teams to identify opportunities, and lead the development of customized, data-driven approaches that relay complex analytics and conclusions in a way that is easy to understand.
Your responsibilities will include:
Build forecasts and enhance methodologies that accurately project disposition volume, write-off volume and expenses relative to tactics deployed by the Efficiency and Waste Reduction team and partners.Provide team and partners with forecasting best practices and SOPs targeted towards specific inventory scenariosCreate models that help highlight impact of business changes and monitor the effectiveness of mitigation efforts in support of business changes.Spearhead collaboration efforts with other team members and departments to develop analytic models, methodologies, reports and insightsData mine large datasets across various databases (e.g. Oracle, Teradata) and perform root-cause diagnostics to identify opportunities that improve our inventory healthBuild customized reports to monitor various financial, execution and operational performanceDevelop and assist with coding logic in SQL, Excel.Advance the teams analytical capabilities, root cause diagnostic framework and SQL coding skills.Measurement and development of KPI’s and success metrics to track performance of initiatives.Monitor business performance and diagnose opportunities.Supports $20+ billion in sales, $5 billion in inventory.Successful candidate will exhibit:

3 years in Analytics, Supply Chain, Sales and Operations planning, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning or similar experience, Merchandising, and/or Strategy1+ years of experience in data manipulation and analysisExperience writing scalable, production level code

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
