What you will do: In this role, you will work with the IPR Manager to manage inventory with daily cycle count and related tasks and maintain optimized inventory levels within the Northwest region. Primary function is to be responsible for inventory control for NWT branches, inventory management, purchasing and coordination with branch locations and Vendors. Inventory Control Manage and control each branch’s daily cycle counts and assist branches to investigate and resolve variances Manage weekly exception reports and support branches to keep branch scorecard to NWT’s target level Proceed or assist each branch’s inventory adjustment according to company’s policies and procedures Assist and resolve any Invoice to Purchase Order variances for NWT branches and improve cash discount amount Manage excess and obsolete reports and continue to reduce E&O inventory Conduct annual inventory audits for NWT branches. Inventory Replenishment Analyze historical demands by branch(or market) and material, and manage purchase orders to optimize inventory turns and purchase cost. Keep up-to-date vendor availability with delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and schedule replenishment orders accordingly with weekly open PO review Maintain stock status at NWT’s target level based on historical demands and communications with S&OP Promptly respond to customer or vendor inquiries Assist in other tasks or projects under the IPR group including but not limited to inventory control or replenishment functions What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Sourcing, Purchasing, Finance or related degree preferred Inventory Control or Purchasing Experience preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required Mincron Experience preferred Strong skills in the areas of negotiation, interpersonal skills, and problem resolution Demonstrated ability to perform and adapt in a changing environment Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter Ability to be effective in a highly matrixed environment Ability to effectively communicate with and influence multiple levels in the organization Proficient skill with Computer Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Professional written and verbal communication skills Travel requirements: 10-15% for NWT branch audits Must reside in WA Salary Range: USD $62,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
