About the Role In this frontline leadership position, you will oversee daily functions within the inventory operations department, ensuring seamless execution of processes, resource optimization, and staff engagement. You will collaborate closely with department managers and a process improvement leader from the system office to drive department initiatives and achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities + Leadership & Team Development: Provide clear direction and day-to-day leadership for logistics and inventory staff and specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and engagement. + Operational Oversight: Supervise daily inventory operations, including receiving, put-away, par inventory management, and procedural area support. + Process Improvement: Partner with the process improvement leader to implement and sustain departmental process improvements and leadership initiatives. + Resource Stewardship: Manage scheduling, assignments, and resource utilization to meet operational and quality standards. + Performance Management: Participate in staff performance reviews and contribute to ongoing talent development. + Customer Focus: Respond promptly and effectively to internal and external customer needs, ensuring high service standards. + PeopleSoft ERP: Serve as a key leader in guiding the team through the effective adoption of PeopleSoft ERP, optimizing inventory operations while fostering positive engagement with staff as they adapt to new processes.
