Responsibilities:

Inventory Specialist (Analyst / Planner)

Assist in management of full product lifecycle with emphasis on meeting corporate targets for lean inventory management, reduction of resources required for inventory management, & customer focus. Develop & communicate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting & updates tied to operations & inventory metrics to optimize inventory management & communicate to stakeholders / leadership team (MBR/QBR/CIA) Conduct daily inventory analysis to identify & resolve inventory issues, seeking appropriate approvals & escalations in accordance with company policy. Support global Inventory Change Requests with focus on accountability & timely execution. Support EMT’s in the field through appropriate communication channels to address inventory related questions & concerns. Continuously audit data integrity for accuracy within the ERP system to include product name, upc, cost, min/max levels, locations, deployments, transfers, and any other material information needed to manage inventory effectively. Assist internal & external business partners in ensuring accuracy of Inventory while identifying & resolving issues. Review, develop, implement, & monitor inventory policies & control procedures to include on-site audits, virtual audits, cycle counts, root cause analysis, etc.  Ensures adequate levels of stock while preventing overstock. Prepare & update documentation & training material to support compliance with established internal control procedures. Assist in high volume season planning, i.e. Intern season, shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products.   Review product demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs & optimize LOC capacity while identify & rebalance overstock Plans and forecasts for future inventory changes/projects based on historical, reoccurring/cyclical &  current demand. Assist in supervising the daily activities of the inventory team,  responsible for evaluating inventory needs and implementing strategies to meet those needs. Support development & implementation of Inventory Strategic plan to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. Liaise closely with internal global business partners to ensure requirements are understood and met in a timely manner. Establish, maintain and develop good business relationships with global team & stakeholders, while supporting company values and standards. Collaborate, identify gaps, & make recommendations for continuous improvement in process, system, reporting, accuracy & efficiency, while providing supporting data & reports. Assist in analysis of beta testing & implementations of process improvements with clear metrics of success, updating process documentation accordingly. Assist department in developing / refining training materials & participate in training of global team. Assist in monitoring and evaluation of Global performance while participating in improvement activities that will optimize the management of inventory in an efficient manner. Collaborate with the company’s global teams to ensure business requirements are met & all issues resolved in timely manner. Utilize comprehensive understanding of business requirements, supply chain, manufacturing processes & external factors to optimize inventory management

Preferred - Skills and Experience

Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college/university with studies in business, communications, purchasing, or materials management. 5+ years in a Materials/Inventory-related function. Strong working knowledge of MRP systems, Internet, office/document softwares and database query on multiple platforms (i.e. Mac, Windows, Linux, etc). Fluency in spreadsheet / reporting manipulation, including Pivot Tables, Functions (i.e. vlookup/trim/concatenate/etc), & understanding of automation tools (i.e. Macros). Proven process improvement & cost savings in a corporate inventory environment. Clear communication with cross functional global teams through presentations & documentation that get results. Exhibit professionalism when collaborating with global team & stakeholders. High energy & creative critical thinking partnered with results-oriented attitude. Strong planning, organization, prioritization and consistent execution skills in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Touch type skills of 60 wpm. Excellent customer service skills. Desire to learn quickly & continue professional skill development within the organization. Attention to detail. Certifications in Supply Chain/Materials Management or APICS appreciated.
