Inventory Specialist

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, has an immediate need for an Inventory Specialist in our manufacturing facility located in Fresno, Texas. What You Will Do:

Complete cycle counts and reconciliationsRun various reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis including morning production reports, weekly cycle counting reports, and monthly variance reportsConduct audits on production sheets and other pertinent inventory documents to verify accuracyManage off-spec and old material to ensure proper work-off or disposal of material, conduct scrapping of materials, and track the disposition purposeCoordinate and lead physical inventoriesHelp with sampling efforts from the Materials Control sideCount and review label stock to ensure proper stockKeep track of pallet counts and order pallets when neededAssist in daily activities including labeling, counting, planning, etc. as needed.Manage virtual inventories and shipments in SAP, audit production receipts and receiving amounts to verify accuracy in SAP, clear SAP error logs, and train personnel on SAP transactions including inventory and warehouse management systems.Active role in the WMS implementation and sustainment of the systemFollow all safety and plant procedures and policiesOther duties as assigned
 

Position Details:

Plant location: Fresno, TX 3130 FM 521 RoadWork week and shift: 1st shift Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
 

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent3 years of Inventory Management or Supply Chain experienceSAP experienceForklift experienceImmigration sponsorship not offered for this role
 

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift/carry 50lbsMust be able to pass a drug screen and background check
 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's DegreeExcel experience3 years of cycle counting experience
