Inventory Specialist

LabCorp is seeking a fulltime Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator to work in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. The hours/location may change/vary based on business need and/or the request(s) of your supervisor or management.

Work Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Requirements:

1 year or more inventory, purchasing and/or supply management experience is required2 or more years inventory, purchasing and/or supply management experience is desired.Knowledge of inventory control and performing physical inventoryBasic computer knowledge and data entry skillsIntermediate Microsoft Excel aptitudeStrong verbal communication skills.1-3 years of experience in procurement and material handling is desired
Experience with warehouse equipment is helpful Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

Place orders for supplies from vendors via computer and telephoneReceive and process stock into inventory management systemProcess orders from lab departments via phone, fax and emailResolve all inventory discrepancies efficiently and timelyMaintain inventory control according to company standardsOrchestrate full monthly physical inventoryDeliver supplies to needed departmentsAdditional Materials duties as neededLoad and unload supplies from trucks and verify packing slips as needed
