Inventory Specialist
**Inventory Specialist** Manor, TX **Job Description** The Inventory Specialist accurately and safely distributes material internally and externally to the facility in an efficient and expeditious manner. The job is responsible for stocking, inventory management, and handling of all manufacturing materials. The job requires accurate counting and kitting of materials. Ability to follow written and verbal directions and communicate effectively with team members both orally and written. • Accurately handle transactions and physical movement of material in and out of the stockroom • Responsible for accurate inventory level management • Responsible for maintaining cycle counts and a clean warehouse • Accurately kit all work orders • Assist in all WIP movement and transactions • May assist with shipping/receiving/packaging as needed • May drive company truck and/or forklift • May perform other duties as required • Attendance is an essential duty of this position Shift: 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm), must be available for up to 10-12 hours a day / weekend days as needed (volunteer basis first, but may be mandated as needed). **Skills and Qualifications** + MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH ERP SYSTEMS + Inventory tracking of incoming or outgoing parts + Data entry of parts information into MRP or ERP system + Cycle Counts + Computer Skills (SAP a plus) + Picking and packaging **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Manor, Texas. **Work Environment** Well lit, clean, ventilated/AC'd room. Air conditioned warehouse; must be comfortable working partially outdoors. Ability to exert up to 45 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demands include stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or bend intermittently during work hours. Subject to frequent interruptions, noise levels, inside and outside environmental conditions, hazards such as electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to chemicals, and debris.
