**Job Title: Inventory Specialist**
**Job Description**
This position involves both office and warehouse work, playing a crucial role in organizing the warehouse and ensuring efficient picking for production needs. The Inventory Specialist will work closely with the Buyer and Plant Manager, performing receiving duties, operating a forklift, and managing inventory within our system.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform receiving duties on all incoming materials, including unloading trucks.
+ Organize and store materials in warehouse areas, including tagging/numbering pick locations.
+ Review, match up, and sign off on all pertinent receiving documents and submit correctly.
+ Store and track bin locations properly.
+ Hold and release raw materials based on QC assessment and test results.
+ Rotate product in warehouse, following FIFO rules.
+ Tag products with XF labels and product ID numbers.
+ Perform cycle counts to verify and validate inventory to system count.
+ Identify expired products, alert team, and determine a course of action.
+ Load and unload trucks.
+ Assist shipping as needed.
+ Prepare products for safe shipping.
+ Communicate effectively between all teams.
+ Provide excellent customer service to customers.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
+ Cross-train with warehouse and production personnel for backup and need-based services.
+ Perform other duties as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to operate a forklift or willingness and ability to learn.
+ Experience in inventory, shipping, and receiving.
+ Proficiency in MS Office for documentation.
+ Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repetitively.
+ Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures (SOPs).
+ Basic math skills (converting kilos to pounds, fractions, decimals).

**Work Environment**
This is a brand-new, modern, and clean facility. The position operates on the 1st shift, where production runs the heaviest with three mixers running throughout the shift. The dress code includes pants, a t-shirt, closed-toe non-slip shoes, and adherence to GMP standards (hair nets, beard nets, no jewelry). Employees are required to keep a pair of non-slip shoes at work to avoid wearing outside shoes in the production/warehouse area. A shift supervisor and an experienced production worker will assist with the basic training of tasks.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00

**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Ephrata,PA.
