This position is open to anyone who meets the minimum and selective qualifications listed below. This is a position specific recruitment. Nature of Work: The main purpose of this position is to procure materials, parts, supplies, and services for a maintenance facility. This position manages the receipt, storage, and disbursement of materials, parts, supplies, and services from the stock room at the maintenance facility. This position also maintains total working knowledge of VISA Procurement, Enhanced Procurement Information Control System ( EPICS), MDOT Standard Accounting and Reporting System ( MSTARS), and Bradley Inventory System to assist with procurement and inventory management. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Experience: Two (2) years of experience performing administrative support work and/or receiving, storing, and issuing supplies, materials and equipment in a storeroom, warehouse or other supply storage facility. Selective Qualification: One (1) year of the required experience must have involved procurement and inventory processes. *This statement contains a selective qualification, which is more focused in scope than the minimum qualifications for this classification. Selective qualifications are utilized when the position requires specific or additional bona fide occupational qualifications (i.e., knowledge, skill or ability). Licenses & Certifications Candidate must possess a driver's license valid in the state of Maryland.
