Inventory Supervisor Summary:

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for leading the inventory and receiving site teams. The role focuses on improving, optimizing, and synchronizing material flows from receipt through the shop floor and to availability for shipment. This position is an enabler to operational performance improvements to achieve best in class operations performance targets.  The inventory and receiving personnel will report directly to this role. 

Responsibility: Receiving and Inventory

Lead materials teams to develop and execute standard work. Leverage lean materials practices to continuously improve standard work to optimize material flow performance. Hold team accountable with dashboards/daily management to timely action messages, resolve material flow problems, and support business and operation objectives. Improve Cycle Count program to ensure 98% accuracy. Refine working tools and leverage system performance to ensure efficient use of team members time by eliminating MUDA in daily tasks. Optimize systems and tools to allow growth without additional overhead costs. 5s Stores and Magazines Transportation of materials onsite including vehicles and compliance Implement dynamic kanban for electronics. Quarterly review of excess and obsolete materials for disposition Proactive process implementation for expiring materials management Disposition actions for aged materials from closed projects
