Inventory Supervisor

Job Overview

Control and maintain accurate records of the Peoria Parts Distribution Inventory. Supervise daily activities of Cycle Count team and Inventory adjustments.

Report on the Inventory Status and take appropriate actions in line with KPI reported.

Key Job Responsibilities

Maintain record keeping systems and reliability of stock status, including proper updating of both WMS and MRP system.

Responsible for all Inventory adjustments and must ensure policies/retention are adhered to.

To establish and execute cycle count schedule in compliance with the corporate accounting objectives  To coordinate and oversee the daily cycle counts of the various inventory assets.

Report on Inventory status & adjustments and make recommendations for corrections.

Ensure the root cause & corrective actions of inventory adjustments are executed timely.

Lead the regulatory compliance inventory control audits.

Consolidate small quantities to single bin status to increase empty bin locations.

Provide slotting recommendations to re-warehousing team in order to get the right parts in the right locations to improve warehouse efficiency.

Qualifications/Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalency. Associates degree or higher preferred.

2 years related experience required.

MS Windows Applications (Word, Access, Excel) and basic PC skills

Aptitude for learning various applications like WMS, MRP and ERP, SAP, extranet applications.

Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to develop and lead a team.

High level of customer support.

Strong interpersonal skills

Good oral and written communication skills.

 

Additional Information

The typical pay range for this role is:​
(Minimum) $71,456 – (Midpoint) $89,320 and a 5% annual bonus​

Pease keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
