As a member of the Corporate Security & Investigations team (“CSI”), you identify, investigate, and resolve allegations of fraudulent or dishonest activity across all lines of business with a view to protecting the assets and interests of the company, shareholders, policy holders and clients.

What you will do

Help assess initial information to determine if investigation is warrantedAnalyze financial records and information, from internal and external sourcesParticipate in interviews with witnesses, clients, staff and/or subject(s) of investigationParticipate in obtaining written and/or audio recorded statements from witnesses and subjectsCollect and preserve evidenceDocument findingsAssist in preparing investigative reports for senior management, regulatory bodies and law enforcement authoritiesFollow up on disposition of files; recoveries, court ordered restitution, etc.Maintain assigned investigative activity within case management system.Participate in the coordination and referral of investigations to the Suspicious Activity Reporting (“SAR”) committee and Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) Teams as neededAssist in development of additional proactive/reactive monitoring tools and catalog those within XRAYMake recommendations to the CSI team for the improvement of procedures and internal controlsParticipate in the Identification of high-risk areas throughout the organization which are particularly susceptible to fraudDevelop and maintain relationships throughout the organization which foster the reporting of fraudulent or dishonest activity

What you will bring

Education/skills acquired through completion of a post-secondary degree or equivalentA minimum of 1 year investigative or audit experience preferably dealing with fraud and related offensesStrong interview skillsBasic knowledge of the rules of evidenceBasic knowledge of the Criminal Code, Bank Secrecy and Patriot Acts, SAR and AML reportingStrong report writing skillsExcellent communication and organization skillsKnowledge of the financial services industry

Base Salary Range

$67,600.00 - $95,425.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
