Investment Banking Industry Coverage CFO Team

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst to support our Investment Bank Industry Coverage Team. This team plays a pivotal role in delivering strategic and innovative financial support to each of the industry aligned sales teams.  We are seeking an experienced and strategically minded person to join our dynamic team and drive financial analysis, insights, and strategic partnership to our Industry teams.

As a member of the Investment Banking Industry Coverage CFO team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing strategic financial analysis for a range of key industries. You will collaborate with senior bankers, product specialists, and key stakeholders to provide in-depth financial analysis, financial statement development and analysis, and contribute to high-level strategic decisioning. This role demands a strong understanding of financial analysis, strategic partnership, and the ability to interpret and synthesize financial data in the context of the investment banking industry coverage landscape.

In this role, you will:

Drive strategic decision making in partnership with Industry Group Heads and senior bankers

Work closely with Industry Group Heads to build trusted advisor status by providing financial insights specific to sectors such as technology, healthcare, energy, consumer products and more.  Understand industry trends and financial market conditions to inform strategic decisions.

Collaborate with business and the CFO team members to deliver integration of financial reporting and analysis activities related to Industry Group and client profitability analysis to facilitate decision making.

Oversee the preparation of financial presentations and internal analysis for Industry Group Heads, ensuring accuracy, clarity and alignment with strategic goals


Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Experience supporting Investment or Corporate Banking Finance

Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive business decisions

Strong FP&A background

Ability to interpret data, synthesize and make recommendations to leaders

Experience driving strategic initiatives and identifying opportunities for growth

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
