The Insurance Investment Banking Team, within Wells Fargo’s CIB Financial Institutions Group, is seeking a talented and experienced Vice President to join and grow one of the industry’s leading insurance investment banking practices. In this role, you will: + Support the insurance investment banking coverage group, product partners and the broader Wells Fargo team as we grow our business. + Generate creative strategic and financing ideas for insurance clients. + Execute advisory and capital markets transactions on behalf of our clients and Wells Fargo. + Drive development of our junior team members. **Required Qualifications:** + 5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + 3+ years of financial services experience in investment banking demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education + Experience within the insurance space is strongly preferred as well as experience working with life & annuity companies + Strong quantitative background with experience analyzing actuarial appraisals + Understanding of U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting frameworks for clients located in US as well as other accounting frameworks for offshore jurisdictions (Bermuda, Cayman’s, etc.) + Familiarity with various reinsurance solutions used to enhance value in transactions + Ability to prepare and diligence a transaction model, incorporating actuarial and deal specific terms to illustrate transaction structure to investors + Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment + Strong organizational and prioritization skills and an ability to effectively multi-task + Motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills + An ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results **Job Expectations:** + Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
