Under supervision of Supervisor or Manager, the Investment Compliance Specialist will engage in various projects, non-standard analysis and initiatives related to technical aspects of the business.
You will provide technical support to Supervisor and colleagues to ensure all deliverables are in good quality and produced and dispatched on time.
Your new roleWhat will you be doing?
As Investment Compliance Specialist Senior Associate you will
Contribute to analysis and planning of operating model with the aim of standardizing processes and establishing best practice,
Participate as technical SME in the system development,
Recommend improvements and implement them,
Review rule syntax and make changes if applicable/required
Act as focal point of contact for technical issues encountered in the daily business,
Assist Team Supervisor in the organization of the Team and in ensuring that departmental procedures and controls are adhered to
Provide timely and professional responses to all enquiries ,
Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal clients and colleagues.
Demonstrate flexibility by supporting different client groups as well as contributing to a range of projects.
Qualifications, skills and experience needed to succeed in the role
Professional experience financial services, securities sector and capital markets
Analytical skills
Advanced command of English language including well-developed communication skills
Accuracy and ability to work with deadlines
Ability to prioritize, pay attention to details and understand customer requirements
Ability to establish and maintain professional contacts and relationships within the company
Knowledge of VBA would be an advantage
Strong understanding of SQL query language would be an asset
