INVESTMENT FUNDS ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - ATLANTA

Location: Atlanta, GA

 

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 50 international firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate Attorney to join their dynamic Investment Funds practice group at their Atlanta office. 

 

Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Bar Admission in Georgia. 3 to 6 years of substantive experience in investment management and fund formation. Strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to engage directly with clients and support business development initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Advise clients on structuring and forming a variety of investment funds, including private equity, hedge, real estate, private credit, and hybrid funds. Work on matters involving retail alternative funds, such as BDCs, interval funds, and closed-end funds, with opportunities to expand your expertise in this area. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive legal counsel to fund sponsors and institutional investors. Engage in client-facing roles to build relationships and contribute to the team’s business development efforts. Support the growth of a strategically important practice area within the firm, contributing to its continued success.
