Job Description
The Investment Intern will have an exciting opportunity to join a mission driven capital allocator as a part of a highly driven team within Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The Investment Intern will have the opportunity to contribute to the management of a multi-billion dollar diversified portfolio across asset classes such as public equity, hedge funds, fixed income/credit, private equity, venture capital and growth equity through various projects and tasks.Project/position description:
Projects will include working across our team in task/projects related to investments, portfolio management, operations, and reporting functions
Projects may include researching an investment asset class/theme/region, and creating a report/presentation to inform the investment team for present and future asset allocation decisions
Projects may include analysis of investment office data, using software such as Excel, Caissa, eVestment, and Bloomberg
Projects may include collecting and organizing of investment office data, using software such as Dynamo, Word, and PowerPoint
Tasks will include participating in multiple meetings with investment managers from around the globe, and may include taking notes and/or providing investment perspectives and opinions
Tasks will include participating investment office meetings, and may include providing investment perspectives and opinions
Tasks include learning from leading institutional investors both internally and externally to develop into a more experienced investment professional
Education
College or graduate student that is currently working towards a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration or other related field, required

Qualifications:
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a passion for investing and financial/economic markets
Progression toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in investments, finance, economics, accounting, business, or related degree
Strong work ethic and demonstrated initiative
Strong writing, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Solid process, analytical, problem solving and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Knowledge of Bloomberg, Caissa, Dynamo, or eVestment software are a plus

Job Responsibilities

Executes administrative and operational tasks for assigned projects.
Supports and participates in the continuous assessment and improvement of the quality of services provided and projects produced.
Understands and complies with infection control, safety, and OSHA procedures and regulations, while meeting all in-service requirements as outlined per policy.
