Investment Operations Assistant
Description Job Title: Investment Operations Assistant (Temporary Onsite) Location: Redwood City Duration: Temporary (with potential for extension) About Us: We are a registered investment advisor (RIA) focused on providing comprehensive wealth management services. We are seeking a detail-oriented, temporary onsite Investment Operations Assistant to support our team with data entry, portfolio accounting, and ad-hoc reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in wealth management operations and be proficient with Envestnet | Tamarac Advisor View. Key Responsibilities: + Assist with data entry into Envestnet | Tamarac Advisor View, ensuring accurate and timely updates of portfolio information. + Support portfolio accounting tasks, including reviewing transactions, performance, and reconciliation. + Generate custom reports for investment analysis, tax reporting, and other ad-hoc needs as requested by the team. + Help maintain and update investment data for client portfolios in the reporting system. + Work closely with the operations team to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues with portfolio data. + Ensure adherence to internal processes and best practices for reporting and data management. + Assist with other tasks as needed, including preparing investment summaries or providing general support to the wealth management team. Requirements Qualifications: + Prior experience in an investment operations or wealth management role, preferably in a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm. + Strong proficiency in Envestnet | Tamarac Advisor View (preferred), or similar portfolio management/reporting software. + Excellent data entry and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and record-keeping. + Solid understanding of portfolio accounting and investment reporting. + Ability to generate ad-hoc reports for various stakeholders, including tax and investment reports. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel for report generation and data manipulation. + Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members. Preferred Qualifications: + Series 65 or other related licenses (a plus). + Experience with financial statements and tax reporting.
